Family is forever
Julie Marcell studied creative writing at The Ohio State University after receiving a BSBA in marketing. Ms. Julie currently lives in Alabama with her husband, the Colonel, a retired USAF fighter pilot. Ms. Julie and the Colonel enjoy jaunts to the dog park with their baby, a 93-pound Doberman who speaks Italian, and traveling abroad. Julie's interest in genealogy led to the discovery that her paternal ancestors participated in the 1848 Baden Rebellion. As a result of the failed rebellion, over one million Germans immigrated to the United States between 1848 and 1854. Like her ancestors, many émigrés traveled on passports stamped 'Not for Return.’
